Karate Foundations
with Hollie & Kevin Webb
New Year, new challenge! Discover the timeless art of Go-Ju Ryu Karate — a path to self-development for all levels. Build strength, coordination, flexibility and stamina in a relaxed and comfortable training environment. Each class includes a functional warm-up, an overview of basic techniques reinforced through partner practice and an introduction to kata (forms) explored both as movement patterns and self-defense strategies. Please wear comfortable clothing — no uniform or prior experience necessary.
Yoga Nidra
with Beth Jones
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation emphasizing extended stillness, silence and resting the body to exercise the mind. You can relax in your own space with this virtual class. You’re welcome to use pillows, neck cradles, eye covers and blankets to support your comfort. You will not move during this class.
Snowshoe & Yoga
with Julie Kaupin
Warm up your body and spirit with a snowshoe trek through Viles Arboretum, then trade in your snowshoes for a yoga mat to practice a calming yoga sequence. Yoga mats, blankets and snowshoes will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own. Please dress in warm layers, wear sturdy snow boots and bring a flashlight or headlamp.
Senior Strength Training

As we age, growing and maintaining muscle becomes harder and even more important for movement. This class helps improve strength, mobility and stability using simple equipment and your body weight. Exercises are performed seated or standing, depending on your preference. You are encouraged to move at your own pace and fitness level. No experience needed.
Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi

Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi is a combination of Tai Chi and Qigong that helps build posture and balance, muscle tone and a healthy range of movement without putting stress on the joints. Regular practice of the 18 forms supports health and vitality, calms the mind and improves breathing.
