Join us for a four-week series designed to beat the winter blues through creativity, movement, cooking and community. Each week will feature a new activity to keep you engaged, uplifted and well.

If you’re in a helping profession or position of support — such as health care, education, social work or caregiving — you are likely to face high levels of stress, burnout and compassion fatigue. This workshop explores how expressive writing can help you restore balance as you navigate the stresses, challenges and triumphs of everyday life. You’ll engage in writing prompts, listen to readings and experience the healing benefits of journaling within a supportive group environment. No prior writing experience needed.

Together, you’ll craft a collective poem that weaves individual voices into a shared piece of art.

iRest is a form of guided meditation based on the practice of Yoga Nidra. While sitting or lying down, you’ll listen to the instructor’s calming prompts designed to soothe your nervous system, release stress and build resilience. This deeply restorative practice has been shown to ease chronic pain, improve sleep and support mental well-being, including symptoms associated with anxiety, depression and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
