Snowshoe & Yoga

Warm up your body and spirit with a snowshoe trek through Viles Arboretum, then trade in your snowshoes for a yoga mat to practice a calming yoga sequence. Yoga mats, blankets and snowshoes will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own. Please dress in warm layers, wear sturdy snow boots and bring a flashlight or headlamp.

iRest Yoga Nidra

iRest is a form of guided meditation based on the practice of Yoga Nidra. While sitting or lying down, you’ll listen to the instructor’s calming prompts designed to soothe your nervous system, release stress and build resilience. This deeply restorative practice has been shown to ease chronic pain, improve sleep and support mental well-being, including symptoms associated with anxiety, depression and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
