Summer Step Challenge: The Appalachian Trail
Join our virtual Summer Step Challenge to collectively walk the distance of the Appalachian Trail — all 2,198 miles from Georgia to Maine!
This group challenge encourages movement of all kinds. Whether you’re walking your dog, pushing a stroller or grocery shopping, every step helps us reach our shared goal. Track your movement however you like (steps, miles or minutes) and submit your weekly activity through our online form.
We’ll combine everyone’s activity to show our progress "along the trail", with updates shared each week by email and social media. Everyone who submits four weeks of activity will earn a T-shirt!
Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi

Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi is a combination of Tai Chi and Qigong that helps build posture and balance, muscle tone and a healthy range of movement without putting stress on the joints. Regular practice of the 18 forms supports health and vitality, calms the mind and improves breathing.

Line Up!

Come learn simple line dances that require no partner, no western boots and no dance experience. You just need a willingness to move and smile! Line dancing is great exercise for the mind and body and can improve joint stability, range of motion and brain health for anyone who joins.
Intermediate Hiking

Join one or more of our monthly group hikes to explore some of the best intermediate trails the area has to offer! Each hike is 3–4 miles round trip with a moderate incline, offering a rewarding physical challenge and time to connect with others. Please come prepared with water and appropriate footwear.
Sun 73 Tai Chi: Going Deeper

Deepen your Tai Chi practice with this advanced offering. Building on Tai Chi for Health & Balance – Part 2, this program introduces new, more complex forms while refining the more subtle details of movement and breath. Challenge yourself as you strengthen both body and mind.

Yoga for Pelvic Health Workshop

Pelvic health refers to the strength and coordination of the muscles and tissues that support bladder and bowel control, sexual function and core stability.
This workshop-style series will include education, demonstrations and the opportunity to practice gentle movement, breathwork and alignment within your comfort level. The exercises support both strengthening and relaxation of the pelvic muscles to promote healthy pelvic function and posture.
Anyone can benefit, especially if you’re postpartum (whether weeks or decades), or experiencing concerns such as incontinence or general pelvic discomfort. No yoga experience necessary.
