Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga offers the benefits of a traditional yoga practice without getting on the floor. This class includes both seated and standing movements, using a chair for balance and support as needed. Benefits include improved posture and balance, increased strength and flexibility, reduced stress and an enhanced sense of well-being. No experience necessary.

Navigating Your Nervous System: Beyond Fight or Flight

Cultivate a deeper understanding of your nervous system and ways to enhance feelings of safety and connection.

This workshop explores the Polyvagal Theory – a theory that suggests the nervous system shifts among three broad states in response to different stressors and life experiences. You will gain awareness of your own patterns and learn practical tools to support nervous system regulation and restore a sense of balance.

Learn the foundations of karate through structured, purposeful training in a supportive and relaxed environment. Each class includes functional movement exercises to help you improve strength, coordination, balance, flexibility and stamina.

Through guided drills, you will also learn and practice self-defense techniques you can confidently carry beyond the class.

Diabetes Awareness Month: Eating for Blood Sugar Balance

In this workshop, you’ll explore various deep-breathing techniques and find ways to catch your breath at last! Styles reviewed include deep-belly breathing, unequal-ratio breathing and alternate-nostril breathing.

Yoga for Pelvic Health Workshop

Pelvic health refers to the strength and coordination of the muscles and tissues that support bladder and bowel control, sexual function and core stability. This workshop-style series will include education, demonstrations and the opportunity to practice gentle movement, breathwork and alignment within your comfort level.

The exercises introduced support both strengthening and relaxation of the pelvic muscles to promote healthy pelvic function and posture. Anyone can benefit, especially if you’re postpartum (whether weeks or decades), or experiencing concerns such as incontinence or general pelvic discomfort.
